Here it is again

  1. FORMATTING: Make sure that your article is formatted exactly the way the publisher needs. i.e. if they want 60 characters, text in an email, etc. Don't send them what they don't want. They will not publish your article.
  2. SUBJECT LINE: The title of your article.
  3. THE RULES: That you want others to abide by.
  4. SUMMARY: Two very short sentences about the article. This is a teaser, something that will make people want to read your whole articles. No more 135 characters including spaces.
  5. THE WORD COUNT
  6. TITLE OF THE ARTICLES: Now don't you forget this!
  7. ARTICLE: Final version of your article, formatted 60-65 characters across (that includes spaces). Proofread and put through a spell checker. Do you remember the old fashioned way to end a sentence and start a new one? It was a period, then two spaces. That's what's required when formatting for the web.
  8. BIO/RESOURCE BOX: A bio of up to 300-420 characters including spaces. This is the ONLY place in the article you can place an ad or advertisement for your service or product. And for goodness sakes ;) include a "call to action". Include a "call to action" - something you want the reader to do, i.e. join your "name of ezine here" or "read more ____ articles at" "download a report" "download an assessment" Have them read a chapter of your book. Just keep the word "free" out of your bio because the spam bots LOVE the word "free".
